Good course for the money

I was looking for a good deal on a Graphic Design Course. I waited for a sale and picked one up for about 12 bucks. That felt like a solid price for what I got. The content was decent, definitely worth what I paid. I wouldn't have paid full price, but on sale, it was a practical buy.

Always a good experience

I've bought a few courses from Domestika over the past year – mostly photography and video editing. This time I got a Photography Lighting Course. As usual, the quality was excellent. The video production is always top-notch and the instructors really know their stuff. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect and they deliver every time. Never had an issue with access or anything like that.

Loved my new course!

Oh my goodness, I just finished the Procreate Course and it was fantastic! The instructor was so clear and made everything seem so simple. I'm already drawing things I never thought I could. What a great platform!

Easy to learn!

I grabbed a Digital Illustration Course the other day, just to try something new. It was actually super easy to follow, even for me who's not really techy. The instructor was good at explaining stuff. Definitely a fun way to spend some evenings.

Great value, well-made courses

I decided to try the UX/UI Design Course and was pretty impressed. Ordering was straightforward, just clicked a few buttons and it was in my account. The course itself was well-structured, broken down into manageable lessons. The instructor's audio was clear and the video quality was sharp, making it easy to see all the software demonstrations. I also checked out their help section for a question about subtitles and found my answer quickly. They have an app too, which was handy for watching on my tablet. For the price, especially with the sale, it felt like a really good deal for learning a new skill. I finished the main lessons in about two weeks of casual viewing.

Has anyone tried to get a refund for a course they didn't like? What's their policy like, is it a pain?

E Elena Kaur 1 month ago
I actually had to refund one once, it was pretty straightforward. I think you have like 14 days or something, and as long as you haven't watched too much of the course. Just shoot their support a message.

Yeah, I think their refund policy is decent. Definitely not a 'no questions asked' thing like some places, but if you have a legit reason and haven't finished half the course, you're probably good.

What's the deal with Domestika Plus? Is it worth it for someone who wants to take a bunch of courses, or just better to buy them individually when they're on sale?

R Rosa 2 months ago
If you're planning on doing like, more than 3-4 courses a year, Plus is probably worth it for the extra discounts. Plus you get credits and stuff. I found it useful for sure.

I got Plus for a year and it saved me a bunch. Especially during their big sales, the Plus discount stacks, usually. I'd say if you're serious about learning a lot, go for it.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows if Domestika courses have an expiration date? Like, if I buy one now, can I still access it in a year or two?

W Wendy 1 month ago
Nah, once you buy it, it's yours forever. No expiry. I've got courses from like 3 years ago I still dip into.

Yep, can confirm. Lifetime access is one of the cool things about them. Unlike some other platforms.

does domestika offer any kind of student discount? i'm in college and trying to save some money.

S Sophie S. 1 month ago
I think they do sometimes! I remember seeing something about it. Might be worth checking their FAQ or just contacting their support directly. Afaik, it's not always advertised front and center.

They used to, pretty sure. You probably need to verify your student status. Give it a look on their site or search for 'Domestika student discount' and see what pops up.

Thinking of signing up for a few courses, but do they actually have subtitles in English for all the videos? My Spanish isn't great lol.

A Andre 2 months ago
Most of them do, yeah. I've only come across a couple that didn't have good English subs, but the vast majority are solid. You can usually check on the course page before buying.

Totally. That's how I watch them. They're usually pretty good, sometimes a tiny bit off, but totally understandable.
